Impactful Research

After more than 10 years of work dedicated to restoration of decimated bay scallop populations in the Peconic Bay, Dr. Stephen Tettelbach, along with multiple students and alumni who assisted in the project, recently published an article concluding their hypothesis and methods were successful, resulting in exponential growth of the species and significant economic impact on the fishing industry of the region.
