The finance minor is designed to provide students with a solid knowledge of financial markets, financial concepts, statement analysis and techniques of financial management. Many of the finance courses require a background in accounting and quantitative analysis. Most courses have prerequisites not included in the minor. Consult the course descriptions to determine the prerequisites.
The finance minor consists of five courses (15 credits), which are:
- Finance 201
- Finance 202
- Finance 315
- Finance 325
- Finance elective (300 level or higher)
