Long Island University’s Homeland Security Management Institute to Hold Open House July 13 at Southampton Graduate Campus

Southampton, N.Y. – The Homeland Security Management Institute of Long Island University will hold an Information Session and Open House on the institute’s programs on Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the University’s Southampton Graduate Campus, 239 Montauk Highway.
Faculty and administrators will be on hand to discuss admission requirements, program details and career opportunities associated with the institute’s programs, including:
- The 15-credit Advanced Certificate in Homeland Security Management
- The new Master of Science degree in Homeland Security Management, scheduled to begin in September 2006
- The new Master of Public Administration degree, which accepts Homeland Security Management courses as electives.
The advanced certificate and M.S. in Homeland Security Management are fully online programs designed for homeland security professionals as well as for recent graduates planning careers in the field. The faculty of the Homeland Security Management Institute includes some of the nation’s top law enforcement professionals.
