Brentwood, N.Y. – Join the growing number of professionals who are pursuing exciting careers in library science, business, counseling, education or criminal justice by enrolling in a master’s degree program at the Brentwood Campus of Long Island University.
College graduates interested in professional advancement or personal development can learn about admissions and degree programs at Open Houses on Wednesday, July 2 and Thursdays, August 21 and August 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Student Lounge. Attendees are encouraged to bring transcripts of any previous college coursework. No appointments are necessary.
Also on that evening, representatives from the College of Management will meet with individuals about Long Island’s top business degree program -- the C.W. Post Master of Business Administration, a 48-credit, AACSB International-accredited program that provides a comprehensive education in management, marketing, finance, accounting, international business and management information systems. Qualified applicants who have been accepted into C.W. Post’s M.B.A. Program at the Brentwood Campus are eligible to receive a 25% tuition scholarship. This award is applicable to all M.B.A. courses taken within a Brentwood Campus cohort. Long Island University is the only university offering the AACSB accredited program in Suffolk County.
In room 212, potential students can meet with representatives from the Palmer School of Library and Information Science to discuss the Long Island University master’s degree in Library and Information Science which has earned the prestigious accreditation of the American Library Association.
The Brentwood Campus offers graduate programs in education, counseling, criminal justice, library and information science and business administration on a 172 acre tree-lined property owned by the Sisters of St. Joseph. The Campus also offers a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. A variety of campus-based, state and federal financial assistance is available. Graduates of Brentwood Campus programs are eligible for a Brentwood Alumni Scholarship, a one-third tuition discount.
