The next generation of leaders in education will assume a variety of roles, including scholars, researchers, policy analysts, teacher educators, instructional specialists, curriculum developers and advocates. LIU Brentwood’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction prepares students for a profession in early childhood and childhood education through a number of graduate programs that offer a range of theoretical orientations, discipline-based perspectives and research methodologies to the study of educational problems, policies, environments and learning processes.
