LIU Brentwood has developed an articulation agreement with Suffolk County Community College which enable qualified students to benefit from automatic admission and guaranteed transfer credit toward their bachelor’s degree at LIU Brentwood.
For SCCC Alumni
The B.A. in Criminal Justice program is designed for transfer students who have earned an associate degree or a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Students complete their freshman and sophomore years at a community college or four-year college and their junior and senior years at LIU Brentwood. Transfer students who have not earned the associate degree may be eligible to transfer a maximum of 72 credits for all courses taken at a two-year college, and a maximum of 96 credits from an accredited four-year college.
LIU Brentwood has established a two-plus-two partnership with Suffolk County Community College to offer SCCC graduates the opportunity to seamlessly transfer all credits to LIU Brentwood and complete both the associate degree and the bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in a total of four years. Students with associate degrees and credits from other colleges and universities are welcome to apply to the program. Please see the Degree Requirements link on the left side of this page for transfer credit information. LIU offers generous transfer scholarships.
