LIU Brooklyn's Jason Brickman Named a Finalist for the 2014 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award

LIU Brooklyn senior point guard Jason Brickman was named one of 24 finalists for the 2014 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award. We encourage all members of the LIU community to vote for him today!
This annual award recognizes the top point guards in men’s college basketball. The original list included 80 candidates, which was narrowed down to 24 by a national committee. Brickman recently moved into sixth place in NCAA history with 961 career assists. In addition, he holds the LIU Brooklyn and Northeast Conference single-season and career records for assists.
Voting will be open through Monday, March 10, allowing fans around the country to vote for Brickman. In early March, the finalists will be narrowed down to five players. The final winner will be chosen by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame committee.
