Description

Dr. Hauck is dedicated to the Profession of Nursing and committed to a culture of nursing excellence. She values professionalism and collaboration among health care professionals. The majority of her clinical experience focused on caring for acute and chronic adult patients from critical care units to home care settings. Dr. Hauck is dynamic and passionate in promoting health and providing high quality safe patient care. She received “The Excellence in Nursing Practice Award”, Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit for the development of a summer camp program for newly diagnosed diabetic children. She also developed, implemented and presented many process improvement initiatives to support a culture of safety. Dr Hauck's research on the effectiveness of Structural Empowerment and certification for Just Culture clearly demonstrates that she is a mentor to pursue nursing excellence to ensure safe patient care.
