Description

Over the past decade, Mr. Valenti has practiced nursing in pediatric intensive care, acute and community adult mental health, and as clinic director for the Office of Mental Health. He has been teaching undergraduate nursing students in NYC for the past five years and joined the Brooklyn Campus School of Nursing as a full-time faculty member in 2010. Mr. Valenti’s research interests include undergraduate nursing education, cultural competency, and high fidelity human patient simulation as a teaching strategy to increase patient safety and quality improvement. He is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation and is in the data collection phase.  Mr. Valenti is a Jonas Scholar Alumni (2010-2012).
