Description

Wanda Watson is an instructor in the Adolescent and Special Education program at LIU Brooklyn campus. Her interests lies in critical inclusive and culturally relevant education for traditionally marginalized students. Her academic interests involve critical inclusive education, social justice education, youth activism, and the intersections of race, class, gender, and education.

She has previously served in various capacities as a middle school educator in Oakland, Harlem, and Washington Heights. She has been an instructor and supervisor for the Teachers College Inclusive Education Program and a staff developer and researcher for the Inclusive Classrooms Project.
