Assessing Student Learning Outcomes in Student Life

Meaningful assessments:

  • Provide feedback to students about the skills or competencies they have developed because of a program,
  • Document the benefits of programs and activities, and
  • Guide the continuation, modification or development of Student Life programs.

Without assessments, all participants—students and Campus Life colleagues—are left uncertain about program benefits, program improvement needs, or the viability of program continuation.
