M.S. in Chemistry The graduate offerings of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are designed to enhance the knowledge of the professional chemist, to prepare students for entry into the broad areas of research and development, to strengthen students preparation for further study, or to allow for a concentration in chemistry necessary for inter-area study in fields such as biology and pharmacy.
