Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to this program, students must:
- Have a baccalaureate degree, preferably in psychology, from an accredited undergraduate program and a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)*
- Have twelve (12) undergraduate credits of psychology, including statistics
- Submit a completed application (including two (2) letters of recommendation) to the LIU Brooklyn Office of Admissions. Note: Transfer credit into the graduate program will be subjected to evaluation by the coordinator of the M.A. program and the dean of graduate studies. All transfer credits must carry a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. A maximum of 9 credits can be transferred into the M.A. program
