Minor in Entrepreneurship

The entrepreneurship minor provides students with a practical yet academically sound opportunity to develop their creative ideas into successful new ventures. The minor focuses on “learning by doing,” as students take their ideas from inception to a complete business plan for a new venture. The program emphasizes the integration of functional knowledge and skills with creative business and product/service development.

The entrepreneurial minor consists of five courses (15 credits), which are:

  • ENT 200 Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • ENT 201 Developing a Value Proposition for a New Venture
  • ENT 202 Developing a Business Model for a New Venture
  • ENT 203 Entrepreneurial Consulting
  • ENT 204 New Venture Planning
