The School of Continuing Studies at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus provides opportunities for adult, non-traditional and professional students to advance their careers and develop in mind, body and spirit. We strive to partner with adult learners who seek access to a superior educational experience.
Consistent with Long Island University’s mission to provide access to excellence, the Brooklyn Campus School of Continuing Studies aims to provide lifelong learning through flexible and innovative programs that open windows of opportunity to nontraditional and professional students of all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Surgical Technology
The Surgical Technology Certificate Program is designed to give individuals the knowledge and skills required to function within an operating room environment.
Vascular Technology
The Vascular Technology Certificate Program is a 12-month, full-time, daytime program that prepares the student for an entry-level position as a vascular technologist.
Paralegal Studies
The Paralegal Studies Certificate Program is designed to prepare the student to work at a law firm, a government agency or a law department.
Children's Academy
The Children’s Academy at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus was designed to create an immersive, educational experience for youngsters between the ages of 3-12.
Building Construction
The Building Construction Certificate Program is specially designed for those who need building construction entry-level and small business start-up skills.
