Admissions Requirements

To qualify for acceptance into the B.S. in Sports Science program:

• Entering freshmen must have a high school grade-point average of at least 80 and a combined SAT score of at least 800 
• Transfer students must have an overall grade-point average of at least 2.0
• All entering students must satisfactorily complete a personal interview 
• Submit a general application for admission through My LIU (see below) 

To qualify for acceptance into any of the four concentrations students must:

• Complete a minimum of 24 credits
• Attain a grade-point average of 2.5 or above
• Undergo an interview with the director of the concentration
• Submit a concentration in sports science application
