Blood Pressure Monitoring
For those with hypertension, monitoring blood pressure can be a life-saving preventive measure. Our professional staff can monitor your blood pressure in our offices and show you how to do it at home. Choosing the right sized cuff, knowing the upper and lower limits of normal blood pressure, making sure you use the proper arm position and knowing when to seek medical help, are all important facets of ensuring that you are monitoring correctly.
Stop by the Center and faculty members and/or students will take your blood pressure and help you to plan a monitoring schedule that works for you.
This service is available Monday and Wednesday, 12 noon – 2:00 p.m.; Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and other times by appointment.
