Program Requirements
Continued enrollment in this program is contingent upon:
- Maintaining a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 with a B or better in all clinical courses
- Successfully completing the required number of hours of preceptor practicum
- Exhibiting evidence of being able to develop an evidence-based practice protocol
- Adhering to the Essential Abilities and Behaviors of the graduate nursing program
- Taking an analytical writing and basic computer competency test in the first and last semesters in the program
- Maintaining current membership in a professional organization approved by the director of the program
- Attending at least one meeting of the approved professional organization each semester
- Completing the online course “Nurses on the Front Line: Preparing for and Responding to Emergencies and Disasters.” The course does not have to be done for credit
