Admissions Requirements
Admissions Requirements
To be admitted to this program you must:
- Be a registered nurse with a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or National League for Nursing accredited program
- Be licensed as a registered nurse in New York State
- Have a minimum grade-point average of 2.5 in all baccalaureate courses and a 3.0 in nursing courses
- Have taken baccalaureate courses in health/physical assessment, statistics and research
- Have a minimum of one year of current clinical experience, 2 years preferred
- Submit a personal statement of professional goals
- Submit three professional references
- Complete a personal interview
- Read and sign the Essential Behaviors document (available through the directors of the graduate nursing program)
