Important Application & Program Deadlines

CalendarStudents applying to LIU Brooklyn are encouraged to submit their completed application no later than August 1 for the fall term and November 1 for the spring term. (International students are strongly encouraged to submit their application for review no later than May 1 for the fall term and no later than November 1 for the spring term.)

Important Undergraduate Dates

While most undergraduate and dual degree programs do not have an application deadline, the sooner a student submits a completed application for review, the earlier the student can receive a final admission decision. Please note the academic programs below that DO require a complete application by a deadline date.

For all other majors, we accept applications for spring, summer and fall on a rolling basis. However, candidates wishing to be considered for scholarships and/or housing are strongly urged to file their applications by March 1 for the fall term and October 1 for the spring term.

Most graduate programs are available each semester on a rolling admissions basis with applications accepted as long as space is available. However it is strongly encouraged that applications and supporting materials be submitted as early as possible.
