Whether you decide to live on campus or commute, LIU Brooklyn is buzzing with activity. Transfer students participate in over 60 clubs and organizations including:
- Student Government Association (SGA)
- Residence Hall Council
- The Seawanhaka Press
- Sound (the yearbook)
- WLIU Radio and LIU-TV
- Alpha Lambda Delta and the National Freshman Honor Society
LIU Brooklyn students also enjoy access to the $45 million, 112,000 square-foot Wellness, Recreation and Athletic Center, which provides state-of-the-art athletic facilities for students and other members of the campus community.
Our students also like to relax in the park-like setting of the newly landscaped courtyard surrounding the world-class Kumble Theater and the Humanities Art Gallery located in the center of Campus.
LIU Brooklyn boasts a nationally recognized Division I athletic program representing the NEC Conference. Male and female student-athletes are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of sports; the athletic program encompasses 17 teams.
