Career Accomplishments
“Landing my first job at a digital marketing agency in Dumbo and subsequently founding Digital DUMBO. We’ve hosted over 100 events in seven different cities in the past five years for innovators that work at the forefront of digital media and technology. It’s been quite a ride.”

Calling Dumbo Home
“Walking to and from Dumbo almost every day is not a bad thing. Sometimes it’s easy to take the views for granted, but the amazing angles of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, in the neighborhood, are unparalleled.”

Proud to be Part of the LIU Blackbirds
“I wanted to move to New York City and I had the opportunity to do so on a soccer scholarship with the LIU Blackbirds!”

Memories at LIU Brooklyn
“There are so many good memories at LIU, some of which I can’t talk about! But, at the top has to be winning the Northeastern Conference soccer tournament, having the opportunity to play in the NCAA tournament, and getting a ring.”

Media Arts at LIU Brooklyn
“I started off as a finance major but realized pretty early on that finance wasn’t for me. I ended up switching my major to media arts with a minor in marketing. I actually wanted to do computer engineering, but at the time that wasn’t an option. I was able to meet some pretty awesome people and professors in the media arts program.”

Myths in the Field
“In the digital advertising and marketing world, many people assume everyone at the company is creative. While that may be true, there are also employees that have deep expertise in other areas such as social media, search marketing, copywriting, development, design, etc. Beyond simply creating, there are many opportunities to hone your skills in order to have a unique role within an agency.”

Defining Success
“At certain points in my life I’ve viewed success as financial. I now largely view success as bringing your ideas to the world. Not all of your ideas will be “successful” but it’s incredibly rewarding to have an idea and make it a reality.”
