Appointment Information

Walk-in Hours: Undergraduate students may come by our office in Pratt 510 for walk-in appointments during the times listed below. Please note that for certain services, such as mock interviews or SDS/Strong assessment interpretations appointments will be recommended to ensure adequate service time. During walk-in hours, the counselor on duty can provide some basic services such as: answer your questions, share information about our services and programs, review a resume or cover letter you have prepared, provide interviewing tips, and offer other general services.  Please note the timeframe for the visit will be brief, partially dependent on the number of students needing service at that time.  The counselor will ensure you connect for another visit for follow-up services as needed.

Monday:        11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday:       11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday:   11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday:      11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Friday:           10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Business Graduate Students should schedule an appointment with April Dechagas in the School of Business by calling 718-488-1121. Other graduate students should schedule appointments through our receptionist (information below) or ReadyMinds. Graduate students should plan to schedule appointments either through our receptionist (information below) or ReadyMinds Distance Career Counseling Service (see Graduate Student tab). Alumni may reach out to ReadyMinds for services (see Alumni tab).

Appointments: Appointments are recommended to ensure adequate time to cover students’ needs. Call 718-488-1042 to schedule an appointment with a counselor. To best serve you, counselors are assigned to work with students in specific majors.
