As the price of an education rises, financial literacy is an increasingly necessary skill for college students today. Sophomore Year Programs helps students navigate the complicated world of finances and budgeting during college through budgeting help, scholarship application assistance, and information on university resources. SYP offers annual information sessions on financial literacy which are targeted to students at different phases in their college careers. Topics include understanding credit cards, budgeting, loans and preparing for life after college. Annually we host a financial trivia tournament that tests money management skills. Teams compete for up to $250 in prizes by answering financial questions.
