Our mission is to offer relevant health information and services, while simultaneously providing daily access to quality medical care as needed by the campus community. Our goal is to become your first-choice, one-stop resource for health and medical services during your college tour. Regardless of your financial situations—UHMS is available to assist in addressing your health and medical needs.
We understand that developing a healthy mind-set enhances your abilities to achieve academic success. UHMS is a resource for you to access the mental and physical strategies necessary to focus and thrive in your studies. Our objective is to make your tour at LIU Brooklyn a healthy and rewarding experience. Our services are available to students, staff, faculty and their families with a focus on developing lifelong healthy habits. (more)
Our Health Initiative Peer Educators (HIPE) are onboard at each orientation to help you through the immunization process. Connect with us in the mornings during registration or visit our station in Integrated Student Financial Services (ISFS), just ask for Health Services.
