Theresa Mall Mullarkey has served as the chancellor of LIU Post since 1993. She also is a trustee of Long Island University. The chancellor serves as a liaison and a good-will ambassador between the Long Island University board of trustees, faculty, staff, students and the local community. She has helped to bring a higher standard of facilities for our students and has overseen enhancements to the campus physical plant. She donated funds to renovate the LIU Post admissions building, which is named Mullarkey Hall in honor of her and her late husband, Thomas F.X. Mullarkey.
