Men's Lacrosse Win NCAA Div. II National Championship

The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team won its second straight NCAA Division II National Championship with a 14-9 win against Le Moyne College on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

This is the third NCAA national championship for the Pioneers as more than 20,000 fans erupted in cheers when the final seconds expired on the game clock. C.W. Post (Brookville, N.Y.) entered the game ranked No. 1 in the country; Le Moyne (Syracuse, N.Y.) ranked No. 3.

C.W. Post is the first school to repeat as champions since Le Moyne capped off two titles in 2006 and 2007. The Pioneers close out the season with a 16-1 overall record, the most wins in program history. They won the national championship in 1996, 2009 and now, 2010.
