Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams Win ECC Championships! Next Stop: NCAA Championships

March Madness!

The C.W. Post Division II men’s and women’s basketball teams won the East Coast Conference Championships! The Pioneers are now headed for the NCAAs!

Both teams will take on their counterparts at Bentley University this weekend in the opening round of the NCAA Division II national championship tournament – the women on Friday, March 11 at 6 p.m., and the men on Saturday, March 12 at 6 p.m. More at www.liu.edu/cwpost/pioneers

Congratulations to our sister team, the Blackbirds of the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University, on winning the Northeast Conference championship Wednesday and earning a trip to the Division I NCAA tournament for the fourth time overall and first time since 1997.
