Basketball Tournament to Benefit Programs for Children with Disabilities

The Center for Community Inclusion will present a "3 on 3 Basketball Tournament" on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Pratt Recreation Center at LIU Post. The proceeds will benefit children with disabilities. The cost to participate is $30 per team.
The Center for Community Inclusion at the LIU Post provides families, educators, early interventionists, medical professionals, employers and the public with resources to support individuals with disabilities, enabling them to become active members of their communities and meet their full potential in all aspects of life. The CCI hosts many events throughout the year for people with disabilities, such as Loose the Training Wheels, Zumba classes, autism workshops for siblings, and conferences for educators and families working with children with Down Syndrome.
"The Center for Community Inclusion is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities," said Dr. Kathleen Feeley, director of the CCI. "Come help our cause by entering the tournament for a chance to win prizes."
