Teaching with Technology Institute Returns to LIU Post

Educational technology conference for professors June 27-28

Brookville, NY – The Teaching with Technology Institute, a seminar offered through the Teaching & Learning Initiative at Long Island University, will offer up a compendium of technology-rich solutions for LIU professors Wednesday and Thursday, June 27-28 at LIU Post in Brookville.

"Teaching with Technology" presents the latest thinking in educational technology and empowers professors to share experiences and increase their knowledge of high-tech teaching tools. Session topics will include e-textbooks, copyright in the digital age, Twitter as a teaching tool and many more. The featured session will be an examination of the New Media Consortium's 2012 Horizon Report.

The seminar begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 5:30 p.m. both days.  A similar program with different topics will be presented at LIU Brooklyn on Monday and Tuesday, June 25-26.
