Freshman Joyce Kwok Claims Top Spot at Fastest Female Swimmer in Division II

LIU Post freshman swimmer Joyce Kwok currently leads the 9th-ranked Pioneers with the fastest times in Division II women's swimming in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly, Long Island University's Athletics Department announced today.
Kwok, a health sciences major from Middle Village, New York, currently leads all NCAA Division II women’s swimming teams in both the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard butterfly with times of 53.93 and 2:00.16, respectively. She also has registered the second best 200-yard individual medley time in the nation, finishing with a time of 2:05.02.
Kwok will participate in the next swim meet against East Stroudsburg University on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Pratt Recreation Center on the LIU Post campus in Brookville, New York.
