Workshop for Aspiring Film Producers at LIU Post

Acclaimed filmmaker and former agent Jim Jermanok will present a workshop, “Successful Film Producing and Financing: Make Your Film Happen!” on Saturday, April 26, at LIU Post in the film studios in Kahn Discovery Center. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The intense, four-hour workshop is geared toward actors, writers, filmmakers, directors, producers, and other creative professionals who want to produce films. The workshop will give participants an inside look at production requirements for films, plays, Web series, and fictional or reality television series. The workshop is based on 30 years of industry experience and analysis of the traits that successful film producers share.
