Rebranding of Long Island University

Dear Editor:

As of January 1, 2012, Long Island University has rebranded itself as LIU. The university and its six campuses and major entities now have more concise names. Henceforth in your coverage, please refer to the campuses of Long Island University as follows:

• C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University is now LIU Post
• Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University is now LIU Brooklyn
• Long Island University at Riverhead is now LIU Riverhead
• Brentwood Campus of Long Island University is now LIU Brentwood
• Westchester Campus of Long Island University is now LIU Hudson at Westchester
• Rockland Campus of Long Island University is now LIU Hudson at Rockland
• Tilles Center for the Performing Arts is now LIU Tilles Center for the Performing Arts
• Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is now LIU Pharmacy
• Global College is now LIU Global
• and introducing a new entity - LIU Online
