About the Program

Students in Au Pair ProgramOur program offers concentrated weekend classes located on the beautiful LIU Post Campus of Long Island University. The program is offered seventeen weekends per year. Each course is 3 credits or 36-45 hours including all pre course assignments. Classes run from Friday evening through Sunday. Our students have the opportunity to experience what college life is like at a bustling American university.

The cost for the entire weekend is $250 - $350 depending on the plan you select (residence or commuter plan). Students may only choose one course per weekend.

Once you are registered for a course or courses, you will be sent an information packet with train and bus schedules as well as a campus map. Check in for students is on Friday afternoons in the Hillwood Commons lobby between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Dinner is served on Friday evening at 5 p.m. and classes begin at 6 p.m.

Courtesy Van/Bus

We provide a courtesy van/bus between the hours of 3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m., for those individuals who are coming by train 5:30 p.m. will be the last pick up. The van will be waiting at the Hicksville train station to bring you to campus. The courtesy van will be available to take students back to the Hicksville train station when the class ends on Sunday.
