How can I get a lock changed?

Fill out a Special Services Request form indicating the location of the lock, name of the person for whom the lock is being changed, and that person’s social security number. Note that Campus Security must approve all requests for lock changes to exterior doors.

How can I get a new key made?

Fill out a Special Services Request form indicating the location of the lock, name of the person for whom the key is being made, and that person’s social security number. If you need a key for an exterior lock, you must address a memo to Bill Kirker, Director of Facilities Services. Note that Campus Security must approve all requests for exterior door keys.

How do I reserve a driver for an off-campus outing?

You can request a driver through Facilities. Fill out a Special Services Request form. Be sure to include the date you need a driver, the times you are departing and returning, the type of vehicle you reserved and the location from which you will leave campus. Questions can be directed to ext. 2277. You can reserve a van by calling Athletics (ext. 2288) or the Department of Student Life and Leadership Development (ext. 2800).

How can I get a room painted?

The first thing you need to do is clear this with your department head and/or dean. Once they have approved your request, you can schedule a room to be painted by filling out a Special Services Request form. Be sure to include the room location, the reason painting is necessary, the color of paint requested, and the signature of your department head and/or dean.

I’m changing offices and need some furniture moved. How do I arrange for that?

Fill out a Special Services Request form indicating the location from which furniture should be moved, as well as the location to which it is being moved. Be sure to also include a list of the furniture to be moved, along with detailed descriptions of the furniture. That way, we can be sure to bring the proper tools and equipment.
