Center for Project Management

The Center for Project Management is a part of the Computer Science and Management Engineering Department at LIU Post. Its purpose is to build links between the LIU Post community, industry and professional groups to promote the educational and research aspects of Project Management. LIU Post is a sponsor of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Long Island Chapter (PMI-LIC). To that end, the members of center coordinate on campus activities between Management Engineering (MGE), PMI-LIC, and private industry to promote the field of project management. Members of the center also include MGE student alumni, an Industry Advisory Board (IAB), and the PMI Registered Educational Provider (REP) liaison.

REP Courses

The following R.E.P. courses are available as part of the M.S. in Management Engineering (MGE) curriculum and can also be applied separately to Project Management Institute Professional Development Units (PDU’s). These courses take place over the 2–3 year MGE program time frame.
