Degree Requirements

Palmer Manhattan students are required to take the following for the Palmer Master of Science in Library and Information Science:

Four core courses for 12 credits:

LIS 510   Introduction to Library and Information Science
LIS 511   Information Sources and Services or another Sources & Services course listed on pg. 18 of Bulletin
LIS 512   Introduction to Knowledge Organization
LIS 514   Introduction to Research in Library and Information Science
LIS 785  Mentoring Experience for 4 credits (includes an internship program)

4 Electives for 12 credits  (see course listings in the Palmer School Graduate Bulletin)
