Minor in Psychology
Undergraduate students at LIU Post who are pursuing a major in another subject area can apply elective courses (24 credits) toward a minor in psychology. A minor adds value to your degree and a competitive edge in the job market by providing you with additional skills and enhanced knowledge in another field of study.

Required Courses
Students wishing to minor in psychology will complete a minimum of 24 credits in Psychology, including the following:
PSY 1, 2 General Psychology I & II (6 credits) or PSY 3, 4 Principles of Psychology I & II (8 credits)
At least five additional psychology, courses which may include one PSY 41 Special Topics in Psychology.
