Undergraduates in the program will take 12 graduate credits in required courses during their senior year. They will then be required to complete only 36 graduate credits in their fifth year rather than the standard 48 credits. Students who meet all these requirements will be awarded the B.S. and M.P.A. degrees upon graduation. If, for any reason, students forgo the M.P.A. program after completing the required 129 undergraduate credits, they will be entitled to the B.S. in Health Care Administration. Undergraduate financial assistance does not apply to the graduate portion of this program.
Upon successful completion of degree requirements, students are awarded both a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and a Master of Public Administration in Health Care Administration in five years – a full year less than if the degrees were pursued separately.
In their undergraduate programs, all students must fulfill the Core Curriculum and Competency Requirements of LIU Post and achieve an overall G.P.A. of at least 2.5 in your major.
