SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Department of Management

Effective management is fundamental to cultivating a productive and supportive culture in the workplace. Professionals with strong people skills and a mind for organizing personnel and IT resources to achieve goals will thrive in management roles at companies in every area of business and industry.

The Department of Management curriculum focuses on the roles and behaviors necessary to become business leader, combining liberal arts courses with professional education in business. Through specialized courses in organizational behavior, human resource management and labor relations, business and society, international management and cross-cultural behavior, and creating and managing a small business, you will develop the professional skills to run a successful, competitive company, and to productively interact with customers, employees, and shareholders.

All of LIU Post's bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business, including the M.B.A., are accredited by AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the world’s leading business school accrediting organization.
