Daniel Sihksnel of Commack, N.Y. enrolled in the C.W. Post MBA program to adapt to a changing job market. After working at a home medical equipment company while he earned his bachelor's degree in business, Sihksnel decided to enhance his resume with an MBA degree. A few months before graduating with the MBA, he landed a position as a sales consultant with Henry Schein, the largest provider of health care products and services to office-based practitioners and a Fortune 500 company.

“I think a lot of companies focus on a team approach to projects, and I would say the majority of courses in the MBA program at C.W. Post involved interacting with other people,” said Sihksnel, who graduated in May 2011. “Students worked together to arrive at a solution, and my managers tell me that the team exercises that I learned in graduate school have helped me tremendously.”
