"I was the news director of campus radio station WCWP and now I'm an editor-in-chief of The Pioneer, the student newspaper. I love the news. I love that current and constant flow of information. I learned a lot about the industry from my professors. The professors in the Media Arts Department have real world experience and knowledge to give, which is incredibly beneficial to their students. I've worked for The Pioneer for two years, this will be my third, and it has taught me not only to edit the work of my peers but improve my own writing and editing skills. There is also a great staff of students running the campus media outlets whether its WCWP, The Pioneer, or PTV; we have a lot of fun and they really are like a big family."
