Minor in Specialty Reporting

Student Reporting in front of cameraUndergraduate students at LIU Post who are pursuing a major in another subject area can apply specific courses (18 credits) toward a minor in Specialty Reporting. This minor provides you with skills in reporting and writing which can be applied in your major to open up additional career options to you.

A minor in Specialty Reporting requires 10 credits in JOUR 3, 4 and 90; one credit in CMA 95 and seven additional credits in JOUR or CMA. A special course, “Tutorial in Specialty Reporting” has been created exclusively for students in this minor. Contact your academic and career counselor about further requirements and additional information.

The following distribution is required:

  • 10 credits in JOUR 3, 4 and 90
  • 1 credit in CMA 95
  • 7 additional credits in JOUR or CMA
