Eligibility

Must be a high school student, who has maintained a cumulative unweighted 80 average or better in the five core academic areas–English, history, math, science, and foreign languages–throughout their high school career.

Important Dates

Sept. 30
Fall and full-year registrations are due.

Nov. 15
Last day to submit a drop form for fall and full-year courses.

Feb. 28
Spring registrations are due.

April 15
Last day to submit a drop form for spring courses.Tuition

Tuition

Tuition for the 2014-2015 school year is $490 per course which must be paid, in full, at the time of registration.

  1. Go to https://apply.liu.edu/hs
  2. Fill in all requested information
  3. Select your high school and the courses you would like to register for
  4. Continue and complete payment
    *Registration will not be processed unless tuition is paid, up front, in full.
    Tuition for the 2014-2015 school year is $490 per course.
  5. Print out your confirmation page. 

Drop Policy

Dropping a course for college credit is a formal process with specific paperwork. All completed Drop forms must be received at the LIU High School Scholars Office before the Drop Dates – November 15 for fall semester and full year courses, April 15 for spring semester courses. After these dates no refunds are made and no drops are processed except for students who drop all their high school classes. See your high school coordinator for more information.
