Admissions - For International Students
A walk across our campus is a walk across the world! LIU Post is home to 700 international students from countries around the globe, all of whom are benefiting from a great American college experience. Earning your bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree from a well-respected American institution of higher education can provide you with powerful advantages in your career and in your life. Here at LIU Post, we have graduated thousands of international students who have gone on to become highly successful professionals in the U.S. and abroad.
LIU Post offers a friendly, welcoming environment where professors will know you by name. You will gain from their expertise in the fields of business, science, teacher education, history, psychology, politics, art, music and more! You also will have many opportunities to participate in internships and in hands-on learning experiences that will supplement what you learn in the classroom.
Living in a new country is exciting! There is so much to see and do both on and off campus. LIU Post is located in a peaceful and quiet setting with rolling green lawns, gardens, historic mansions and modern classroom buildings, yet it is less than one hour away from the excitement of New York City, the business and cultural capital of the world.
At LIU Post, our goal is to make the enrollment process as easy as possible. This section of the Web site provides all that you need to get started. So, check out our list of majors, learn more about admissions requirements, find out about our English Language Institute, and fill out an online application!
NOTE: All application materials from international students (students who are not U.S. residents) should be submitted directly to LIU Post at the following address:
