Getting Started: The Application Process
All applications for undergraduate admission and required documents should be submitted by June 1 for the Fall/September entry or November 1 for Spring/January entry.
NOTE: All application materials from international students (students who are not U.S. residents) should be submitted directly to LIU Post at the following address:

You are considered a “Freshman International Student Applicant” if you are have completed high school education, which may include college-level credits through Advanced Placement, Global Assessment Certificate and International Baccalaureate.
You are considered a “Transfer International Student Applicant” if you have completed any University credits after completing high school; you must also submit your high school transcripts if you have not yet earned a minimum of 24 credits at another accredited college or university.

Global Assessment Certificate
The Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program is a university preparation program that provides students with the academic knowledge, skills, and confidence to enter and successfully complete a bachelor's degree at one of many selected universities. LIU Post is a GAC Pathway University. Up to 21 credits earned through GAC will be accepted toward a bachelor’s degree program at LIU Post.
