In the event of a class cancellation due to an emergency school closing, days for make-up classes will be on 1/11/13,  1/14/13 - 1/15/13.

In the event of inclement weather, students should call 516- 299-EMER (3637), or visit the LIU Post website or check www.weatherclosings.com for the most up-to-date information.

The following radio and T.V. stations will be notified of class and event cancellations:

FM Stations:

WALK 97.5FM, WBAB 102.3FM, WBLI 106.1 FM, WRCN 103.9FM, WMJC 94.3FM, WKJY 98.3FM, WBZO 103.1FM, WLVG 96.1FM

AM Stations:

WCBS 880AM, WINS 1010AM, WHLI 1100 AM, WLIE 540AM, WLIM 1580AM

TV Stations:

News 12 Long Island, CBS Channel 2, NBC Channel 4

Since some of these radio and TV stations announce cancellations only once daily, students are urged to consult the above phone number and Web sites for official cancellation information.
