LIU Post degree programs are accredited by the top agencies in higher education. Classes are small, allowing for close interaction with professors and fellow students. Visiting students will find many courses that will help them get ahead in their degree programs or satisfy a requirement while home on break.
Our beautiful and secure 307-acre campus is conveniently located in northern Nassau County, minutes from Exit 39 of the Long Island Expressway and easily accessible from throughout the New York metro area.
Winter Session at LIU Post offers you an opportunity to earn 3 credits in just 10 days (undergraduate courses only). You can get ahead in your degree requirements or even graduate early! Select from more than 30 courses.
Winter Session 2016 is held over a 10-day period (Jan. 4 through Jan. 15, 2016) and is considered a full semester. Courses are open to both current LIU Post students, new students as well as visiting students from other colleges and universities.
Classes are available during the morning, afternoon and evening and run Monday through Friday.
The Winter Session also offers a three-credit travel course to Latin America.
Summer Sessions are a great way to get ahead. You can tackle a challenging class without distraction, fulfill degree requirements or start your college studies early.
LIU Post offers more than 900 undergraduate and graduate classes during the summer months, from May to August.
Courses range from one to four credits and are five weeks in length. One-week intensive institutes also are available.
