At LIU Post, visiting undergraduate or graduate students will find easy admission and registration and one of the region’s most complete selections of courses in education, business, public service, liberal arts and sciences, health care, social work, the arts and more.
LIU Post degree programs are accredited by the top agencies in higher education. Classes are small, allowing for close interaction with professors and fellow students. Visiting students will find many courses that will help them get ahead in their degree programs or satisfy a requirement while home on break.
Our beautiful and secure 307-acre campus is conveniently located in northern Nassau County, minutes from Exit 39 of the Long Island Expressway and easily accessible from throughout the New York metro area.
The Winter Session is held over a 10-day period (from the end of December through mid-January) and is considered a full semester.
Courses are offered at 1/3rd off the regular tuition rate. Most courses award three credits.
Classes are available during the morning, afternoon and evening in the following time periods: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1:15 to 5:15 p.m.; and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and run Monday through Friday.
The Winter Session also offers three-credit travel courses at 40% off the regular tuition rate.

Summer Sessions are a great way to get ahead. You can tackle a challenging class without distraction, fulfill degree requirements or start your college studies early.
LIU Post offers more than 900 undergraduate and graduate classes during the summer months, from May to August.
Courses range from one to four credits and are five weeks in length. One-week intensive institutes also are available.
