Application for Withdrawal
Students can add OR drop a class using their My LIU accounts through the first week of classes (7 days) of the Fall or Spring semester. After the first week, students must fill out an "Enrollment Change Form," which is available at the link below. This form will require signatures by University officials. Please refer to the Required Signature Schedule (PDF) and the Tuition Liability Policy for Fall, and Spring (PDF) or Winter, Weekend and Continuing Education (PDF) for more information.
If you are attending the Winter or Summer sessions, the withdrawal deadlines are listed on the Academic Calendar. You may be required to fill out an Enrollment Change Form. Contact the Summer, Evening & Weekend Office at 516-299-2431 or e-mail email@example.com.
If you wish to withdraw from all your classes for a semester, you should contact your success counselor (undergraduates) or academic advisor (graduates) and complete the Enrollment Change Form.
