International Scholarships

LIU Post offers scholarships to talented international students pursuing a bachelor’s or a master’s degree.

International Freshman Scholarships

If you are a student applying from an English speaking country or if your first language is English, you must submit your SAT scores in order to be considered for the Freshman Scholarships. For a complete list of Freshman Scholarships click here.The scholarships listed on this page are for international students for whom English is a second language. You do not need to submit SAT scores for scholarships listed on this page. Please see criteria below.

Freshman LIU Post International Excellence Award $4,000 per year
Freshman LIU Post International Incentive Award $2,000 per year

International Transfer Student Scholarships

Transfer LIU Post Transfer Excellence Award $15,000 per year

Transfer LIU Post Advanced Study Tuition Grant $9,000 per year
Transfer LIU Post Transfer Incentive Award $8,000 per year

International Graduate Student Scholarships

Graduate Graduate Scholars Award $175 grant per credit
Graduate Graduate Academic Award $125 grant per credit

Graduate Academic Assistantships

All academic assistantship applicants must file an assistantship application which is available in the appropriate department office.

Graduate Departmental Assistantships

Graduate Assistantships are available on a limited basis. The student will have teaching responsibilities and/or direct assignments for working with undergraduate students. The Graduate Assistant receives tuition credit assistance plus a stipend.
